To create a space that suits Mr. Ly Heang’s many needs and daily routines, we decided to use most of the land for the villa with multiple floors and move the landscape and greeneries to the roof floor.
We tried to incorporate art with some decorations and materials such as natural stones, and connect with nature by bringing as much natural lighting and ventilation as possible into the building. A few design decisions such as placing large windows on all elevations, connecting a courtyard in the middle of the house from the rear elevation, and circulating the wind flow on the roof floor with narrow corridors.
